VIC Action Planning Meeting

We're planning to deliver our 'Clean Energy for Health' open letter to the state parliament house to represent the health community's demands for a commitment to 100% renewable energy by 2030.

The letter delivery will take place on September 15, the last sitting day of parliament before the state election.

We hope to have guest speakers and a creative visual presence and we'd love your help to organise the event's proceedings.

Please join our online meeting for VIC health workers and community members concerned about the health impacts of climate change. No previous experience required - just a desire to help create an impactful activity!

Once you RSVP, a Zoom link will be emailed to you.

Help us deliver the ‘Clean Energy For Health’ letter on 15 September!

On the last sitting day of Parliament before the Victorian state election we will deliver our Clean Energy for Health open letter. We’d love you to join us to help send a strong message.

Signed by nearly 100 health workers so far and many health bodies, the letter urges the Victorian Government and Opposition to commit to 100% renewable energy this decade to protect the health of communities across our state.

There will be guest speakers and a photo opportunity on Parliament steps representing the health community’s demands. We'll keep in touch with more information closer to the event but for now we'd love you to save the date and RSVP.

If you'd like to help us plan the event you can join us on Zoom on Mon 29th August from 7pm-8pm - click here to find out more.

We look forward to seeing you!

Clean Energy For Health - NSW

We're starting a campaign to get a commitment from the NSW Government and Opposition to support 100% renewable energy!

A target of 100% renewable will bring NSW in line with other states like South Australia and the ACT and help protect our communities from the health impacts of fossil fuel combustion and climate change.

The meeting will be about a whole variety of ways people can be involved, so there's something for everyone - organising events, meeting with health organisations, candidates, signing and sharing open letters, strategic research, public engagement and working with allies.

We'll continue to meet on a regular basis to build our work to create resilient and healthy communities.

If you're a NSW health worker, student or community member who is passionate about health, we'd love to have you involved.
