Doctors for the Environment (DEA) and Healthy Futures are excited to invite you to our co-hosted Cowper Regional Health and Our Changing Environment Forum, an opportunity to discuss how climate action and public health intersect in our community.
We want to create a community space where candidates can explain their plans to tackle the health impacts of environmental challenges and build a sustainable, resilient future.
This forum will explore key issues like reducing emissions, protecting vulnerable communities, and ensuring our healthcare system is prepared for extreme weather events.
Whether you are a healthcare professional, a health service user, a climate advocate, or simply someone who cares about the health of our community, your voice matters.
We want the forum to be a chance to ask questions, share ideas, and help shape the conversation for the community in Cowper.
We have confirmed local psychiatrist Dr Cybele Dey will facilitate a conversation with Caz Heise, Greg Vigors and Wendy Firefly. Local media personality John O’Callaghan will MC.
We will provide food on the night, and drinks will be available from the club.
