NSW AGL Action Planning Meeting

Help plan an exciting action in Sydney targeting Australia's largest polluter

AGL produces a whopping 8% of Australia's carbon emissions, that's more than all cars on the road in Australia or the emissions of entire nations such as New Zealand, Ireland or Sweden.

The World Health Organisation says countries like Australia must end coal use by 2030 to protect our health from climate change. AGL's current plans are to keep burning coal well past this date (until 2045!) but is under increasing pressure to make the energy transition sooner.

Let's keep this pressure up! Healthy Futures is organising an action with healthcare workers and allies in New South Wales and we'd love you to help us plan what that action looks like.

Please join us on Wednesday 6 April from 7-8pm AEDT via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you once you RSVP

We look forward to seeing you there!
