We’re holding our first Gas Free Homes & Hospitals meeting on Monday, 6:30pm AEDT on the 27th of March.

Can you make it to our first meeting and spread the word with other colleagues?

We need the Victorian and NSW governments to commit to houses and hospitals being powered by renewable energy rather than polluting gas. Did you know that gas use in homes gives children the same risk of asthma as passive smoking?

A roll-out of gas-free, renewable-powered healthy homes and hospitals will be good for the health of patients, healthcare workers, the community and our climate.

In Monday's meeting we'll be breaking into groups to discuss:

-  spreading the word about our open letter to the Victorian Government calling for support for households to switch from gas to renewable energy

- a new campaign we're planning to get Victorian hospitals off gas, starting with the new West Gippsland Hospital due to be built in 2024

- a new campaign we're planning to get NSW hospitals off gas, using the John Hunter hospital in Newcastle as a case example
