On Tuesday the 26th March, we will deliver our Save Lives with Solar letter. We need you and your colleagues to join us to help send a strong message.

We will be delivering the letter, signed by 20 health groups and nearly 200 healthcare workers calling on the Federal Government to commit to:

• Rooftop solar on at least 30% of Australian social housing by the end of 2026,
• Access to affordable renewable electricity for social housing where rooftop solar is impractical, e.g. via power purchasing agreements and/or battery storage
• Installation of reverse cycle air conditioning and implement other energy efficient retrofits to achieve safe temperatures in all social housing.

The letter can be signed by those who work or study in health and anyone passionate about protecting our health and climate.

We will deliver the letter on the 26th March at 11am, to Parliament House at Parliament Drive, Canberra ACT 2000.

We aim to attract media attention to publicise the urgent need to act on climate change and protect health so bigger the crowd, the stronger our voices. Can you join us?
